The Sea Kings Junior Varsity traveled to play the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles under the lights on Wednesday night and came away with an 11-1 defeat.
After a scoreless first inning, the Sea Kings failed to contain the Capistrano Valley Christian offense, as the Eagles scored in every inning thereafter.
The Sea Kings scored their lone run of the game in the top of the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Porter Fyke (‘26) after Cason Yarnall (‘27) had been hit by a pitch and advanced to third base on a wild pitch and a stolen base.
Crosby Eddy (‘27) reached base twice for the Sea Kings with a single and a walk, and added a stolen base to his stat sheet.
The Sea Kings Junior Varsity will close out their season on Saturday, May 3 when they host the La Quinta Blackhawks.
