The Dana Hills Dolphins soundly defeated the Sea Kings Junior Varsity 19-1 in a game that got out of hand early. The Dolphins jumped the Sea Kings for seven runs, four earned, in the first three innings and the rout was on from there, with Dana Hills putting up a crooked number in five of the game’s seven innings.
Johnny Allstaff did the bulk of the mound work for the Sea Kings as they trotted out six different pitchers to cover the game’s final five innings.
Max Brengal (‘27) lead the Sea Kings offense going two for three, with a double, and scoring the team’s lone run when he was driven in by Prescott Nyman (‘27) in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Sea Kings Junior Varsity will go back to work on Tuesday, March 4 when they travel to San Juan Hills to face the Stallions.
